Encouraging Ourselves pt.1

LISTEN TO YOUR HEART

Stressed out? Take a deep breath. Now put your right hand on your heart and cover it with your left hand. Close your eyes. Feel your heart beating, cradled beneath your two hands. Sit quietly for a few minutes with your eyes closed, breathing gently in and out. Think about those you love or about something dear to your heart. If you feel so led, pray about what is troubling you, a special concern, or something you are thankful for today. Listen to what your heart is telling you. Rest quietly before you open your eyes.
