Weekend reflection.

In a few hours, I will be saying good bye to my weekend and will be saying hello to a brand new week. This weekend is probably one of the most exhausting, yet awesome weekend ever. It's 10 o'clock and I'm beat. I'm done for the day...for the week even (ok I'm exaggerating). Nevertheless, it was one successful weekend.

saturday: early start. We've never done brunch in soooo looong! Brunch at Barb & Ernie's was filling. Cora would've been good, but man the line up was unbearable considering that we were extremely hungry. The rest of the day was basically filled with random window shopping and movie watching (Law Abiding Citizen = gory/awesome). Pan de Sal  topped it all off. Freshly baked Pan de Sal was yumyum. I swear, you'd kill for the pan de sal that Tita Ely made. The best pan de sal I've had in 7 years.

sunday: early start. Church then Pho time! This is for the record, hands down...Phobolous have the best Pho in e-town EVAAARRR (ok, maybe to date since I have yet to try more Vietnamese/pho places). I can't stress enough on how much Phobolous is 1000x better than Pho Hoa. They may be a lil conservative on giving us hoisin sauce, but other than that...I give it 2 thumbs up. It may cost us to to drive to downtown, but seriously, it is WORTH the drive. Moving on, roadtrip to this new Walmart in the middle of nowhere was exciting (given the fact that I totally messed up with Ida's sense of direction..and yay for chocolates). The rest of the afternoon was filled with another movie (The Hurt Locker made me cry...and seriously?). We basically killed time til we had dinner with Ida's family...and I must say, din din was great. I did break my "healthy" diet, but I haven't had good Chinese food in a long time. Thank you Ida!

...I am exhausted, but I love how my weekend was full of food-trips. Seriously though, I really need to get a new camera soon because my "archives" is missing out on a lot of amazing sights. Lovely weather, amazing food, fantastic company...what more could I ask for? Thank you. God is amazing.

...and now I sleep. Good night.

P.S.
T-3 days til BC!!! I am stoked. I am giddy. I cannot wait til I visit BC again!! I am EXTREMELY anxious to see some good ole faces and I swear I will have separation anxiety with BC...AGAIN. ( i love BC...todeath)

<3 lots,
P.
